Patient question

Asalam o alikum hows your day i hope so you have a great day am 22 years old male
For around the past year, I’ve been very aware of my heartbeat and I frequently notice episodes of increased heart rate and skipped beats/palpitations.

My heart rate varies a lot:

* Sometimes resting/sitting HR is in the 80s.
* Sometimes during the day it is in the 90s to low 100s even while sitting or half lying down.
* Sometimes resting HR can go around 105–106, but later it comes down again into the 90s or lower if I deeply relax and stop thinking/stressing.

I do not exercise daily. Usually I exercise only 2–3 times per week. Most days I am just normally active, walking around, climbing stairs, and doing daily activities.

Sometimes I can do activities such as:

* walking normally
* climbing stairs normally
* push-ups (sometimes 100–150 in a day)
* some light boxing/punching exercise

After exercise my HR increases and then gradually comes down afterward.

I sometimes feel skipped beats/palpitations, especially:

* while resting
* at night
* when lying on my side
* sometimes after stress
* sometimes after exercise

However, sometimes I feel skipped beats even when I do not think I am stressed.

Sometimes I can feel repeated skipped-beat sensations for around 20–30 minutes. The sensation feels like a pause/thump or a strong heartbeat. I do not usually have fainting, collapse, or severe symptoms with them.

I also sometimes feel chest discomfort/soreness after push-ups or exercise, usually on the chest/left side.

Previous ECG and echocardiogram done last year were reported normal.

I have also developed a lot of anxiety and focus around my heart symptoms and frequently notice my pulse and heartbeat changes.

I would like evaluation/reassurance regarding the palpitations and heart-rate fluctuations.
