If you conceived on the 15th, it usually takes at least 12–14 days for a pregnancy test to become positive. Based on what you told me, if your pregnancy test became negative the very next day after taking the abortion medication, that would not usually be expected.
This means either there was an issue with the first pregnancy test strip, or you were not actually pregnant.
I recommend repeating the pregnancy test once more using your first morning urine. If the result is negative again, it is most likely that you were not pregnant. If you still have concerns or your period does not come, you should have a beta-hCG blood test and consult a gynecologist for further evaluation.
